Step Up for Students Programs

K-12 students, regardless of household income, who are residents of Florida and eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school can receive a scholarship to attend a private school that best meets their academic needs. The scholarship can be used for tuition along with other related expenses such as registration, books, and other fees.

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)/Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO)
(K5 – Grade 12):

  • FTC and FES are state programs established to expand education opportunities for children from families that have limited financial resources; and enable children to achieve a greater level of excellence in their education. Families may apply for these scholarships by accessing either of the agencies listed below.

Florida Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities
(FES-UA; formerly Gardiner/McKay):

  • Community Christian Academy does accept the FES-UA Scholarship. However, because of the nature of this scholarship, please contact the school office at 727-592-2659 to determine if we are able to meet the needs of your student. Due to limited resources, we may not be able to accommodate IEPs or 504s.
